Congratulations to the Providence School Stallion Brigade for winning GRAND CHAMPION at this past weekend’s FFCC marching band competition at Tacoi Creek High School!
Providence was one of six bands in class 1A, including Middleburg, Palatka, and Trinity Christian. We tied with Trinity for Best Visual in Class but stood alone in taking home Best in Class awards in General Effect and Music.
Providence was also awarded FIRST PLACE overall in class 1A.
Not only that, but the judges also compared our performance against the bands in the next size class up which included Wolfson, Clay, and Fletcher. They awarded Fletcher High runner up and our 19-member marching band (with 9 middle school students) was awarded GRAND CHAMPION of all nine bands in class 1A and 2A.
To God be the Glory with how He worked through our small but mighty team!
You can catch our award winning, pirate themed, field show during halftime at the varsity football games. We also have two more Saturday performances. One at 10:21 am on October 12th at the FMBC Golden Eagle Classic hosted by Fleming Island High School. Our final performance of the season will be in the early afternoon on November 2nd at at the FBA District 17 Marching Music Performance Assessment hosted by Fletcher High School.#yeahgoband #playskillfully #psalm33:3 #provstrong
