Chorale Goes to Carnegie
We are proud to announce that select students from Providence Chorale have been invited to perform in the 40th season of MidAmerica Productions’ Memorial Day Concert at Carnegie Hall. This performance will take place under the direction of internationally-acclaimed composer and conductor John Rutter CBE, along with the New England Symphonic Ensemble. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our students, complete with a full concert residency program in NYC and a week-long, daily professional development course under Mr. Rutter’s direction, before their performance on the stage at Carnegie Hall. This is the ultimate cultural experience and educational opportunity for our Providence students. They will experience all that NYC has to offer, from a Broadway musical to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Metropolitan Opera House, and all Big Apple sights an artist should experience, culminating with their performance onstage at Carnegie Hall under Mr. Rutter. Being invited to perform on this stage is an incredible honor!
We are proud of our Chorale and Mr. Giddens for their hard work in getting to this point of selection and know they will represent Providence well on the national stage. We invite you to be part of their journey through the financial support of “Chorale to Carnegie.” If you would like to contribute on behalf of your family or company, please click the buttom above and select Fine Arts – Chorus on the drop-down to give online today.
